Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
A tradeline is just a credit account that shows up on your credit report, like a credit card or loan. When you buy an authorized user tradeline, you're paying to have your name added to someone else's good credit card, so their good credit history helps make your credit profile better.
No, we recommend removing derogatory marks before you add any authorized user tradelines. Derogatory marks will drag down your score more than adding primary and secondary accounts can help it. It is important to note that authorized user tradelines are a temporary solution. We offer a minimum of 3 reporting periods all the way up to 8 (about 3 months to 8 months). We recommend that you be prepared to use your enhanced credit profile within the allotted time range. If you would like to repurchase or extend your time on a tradeline, you can do so at a 20% discount of a full purchase price.
Yes, we offer the best reporting times in the entire industry. Our minimum time that tradelines will report to your credit profile is 3 months, with a current maximum time of 8 months depending on the credit card issuer. Most tradeline companies offer a measly 2 months
We offer a 100% money-back or equivalent replacement if we do not fulfill on our promise
We promise that our tradelines will post to at least 2 out of the 3 bureaus within 65 days of the first posting date after your purchase (usually tradelines post 2 weeks to 30 days after purchse). We also promise that any tradelines that you buy will have below 10% utilization and 100% payment history.
First you will select the tradeline(s) that will fulfill your credit profile needs. Then you will provide us with a photo copy of your drivers license and social security card (if the address on your credit report doesn't match your license please enter your "credit report address" in the notes section. After you submit your payment and information it will take our credit partners up to 48 hours to add you as an authorized user. Once you are added you will be notified via email/text that you have been successfully added. Lastly, you should see the tradeline(s) reflected on your credit report after the stated posting date.
Our purchase deadline is the final day to buy a tradeline and have it guaranteed to appear in the next reporting cycle.
For instance, if the deadline is August 10th and the reporting window is August 20th-27th, purchasing by the 10th ensures your tradeline will show up during that window. Check the "Purchase Deadline" column in our tradeline listings to see the specific deadline for each option we offer.
To place an order, we need a copy of your driver’s license and a copy of your social security card. These items are necessary for identity verification, fraud prevention, and occasionally the banks will ask for these documents to add an authorized user to an account.
After the tradeline is removed it will either go from an open account to a closed account, or it will disappear from your account altogether. There are rare cases where the tradeline will appear as active even after you have been removed
The bureaus are trying to connect/sync the personal information that you provide your AU account(what you provide us) to your credit report information. The more identical your personal information is across all 3 bureaus and the AU tradeline (name, address, date of birth, SSN), the better your chances are that they will post to all 3 bureaus. If you have an Experian account, we recommend using the AU account holder's address (provided after your purchase) in place of your personal address in your account settings. This has shown to also improve the chances of posting
We can not promise that there will be an increase in your credit score. The potential change in your score will depend on how the authorized user tradeline affects your current scoring attributes (payment history, # of accounts, credit mix, credit utilization). In our experience increasing the average age of your credit will have the largest effect and lowering your overall utilization will have the second largest effect.

Yes, we allow CPNs to be added but by using a CPN you forfeit any rights to a refund. Since CPNs are not connected to a legitimate identity they are not covered in our Terms and Conditions. In our experience CPNs can post to the following credit issuers, Citibank and Discover. Do not try and add any CPNs to any other type of credit card issuer because they WILL NOT POST.
At Tradeline Express, we've identified that only certain banks consistently report authorized user data to credit bureaus. Based on our extensive testing and experience, we exclusively partner with banks that have proven reliability in posting tradelines successfully. Be aware that if you have unpaid collections or bankruptcy debts with a particular bank, you may be blacklisted - in these cases, we recommend selecting a tradeline from a different financial institution to ensure successful reporting.
No, you cannot add tradelines if you have fraud alerts, credit freezes, or other blocks on your credit report. These security measures prevent new information from appearing on your report. Purchasing tradelines with these restrictions violates our user agreement and disqualifies you from refunds if the tradeline doesn't post. You're welcome to remove these blocks by contacting each credit bureau directly, then wait 30 days to ensure your file is clear before purchasing from Tradeline Express.
At Tradeline Express, we focus exclusively on personal authorized user tradelines. While we don't offer business tradelines directly, improving your personal credit can significantly help your business credit journey. Lenders frequently check personal credit when evaluating business funding applications, especially for newer companies. Having strong personal credit can help you qualify as a guarantor for your business, often a crucial step in accessing better financing terms. Many entrepreneurs find that building excellent personal credit first creates a solid foundation for establishing business credit later.
At Tradeline Express, we specialize exclusively in authorized user tradelines. We don't offer primary tradelines, which are accounts directly issued to you by lenders. Be cautious of companies claiming to sell "primary tradelines" - since these accounts must be issued directly by creditors, obtaining them through third parties often involves questionable or potentially illegal practices. In our experience, properly managed authorized user tradelines can provide significant credit benefits without the legal risks associated with purchased primary accounts.
Yes, you can apply to become a tradeline seller on the page https://tradelineexpress.co/vendor-application/. We recommend signing up if you have cards that have exceptional age (10+ years old), high limits ($20k+), and/or a large volume of cards you wish to sell (10+). This will ensure your tradelines have good demand.
Yes, it is completely legal. Buying a tradeline is when you pay a fee to be added as an "authorized user" onto someone else's credit card account, usually one with a good payment history. The hope is that the card's good history will show up on your credit report and help improve your credit score. You don't actually get to use the credit card or owe any money on it. While being added is allowed, be sure to use trustworthy companies because the impact on your score isn't guaranteed and there can be risks.
No, they do not. Unlike some other card issuers, American Express no longer backdates authorized user accounts. Previously, Amex would report the original account opening date for authorized users, but they changed this practice in 2015. Now, when you're added as an authorized user to an Amex card, your report will show only from the date you were added - not the card's entire history. Many of our clients who purchase these cards pair them with other tradelines that have good age. You then get a mix of age and credit limit .
At Tradeline Express, we recommend a strategic approach based on your unique credit situation and goals. After reviewing your current credit report, consider adding just 1-2 high-quality tradelines initially if you're new to credit building. Focus on quality over quantity - select tradelines with long, perfect payment history and low utilization ratios.
