Become a Tradeline Seller and Earn Passive Income Today

Become a tradeline seller if you have credit cards with perfect payment history that you’re not fully using.

Selling tradelines means you add someone as an authorized user on your credit card for a fee. They benefit from your account’s age and credit limit on their credit report, and you get paid for it.

This is legal under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act of 1974. About 33% of Americans already have family members added as authorized users.

Selling tradelines just makes this available to people who don’t have family with strong credit.

How selling tradelines works

A buyer pays to be added as an authorized user on your credit card. You add them online, which takes less than ten minutes.

They never receive your card or account information.

The account reports to the buyer’s credit file within 10-35 days.

After a set period you remove them, and that’s the end of the transaction.

If you work with a tradeline company like Tradeline Express, the company handles finding buyers, collecting payments, and managing compliance. You just add and remove users when told to.

How much tradeline sellers earn

Your earnings depend on four things:

  • Age of your credit cards
  • Credit limits on those cards
  • Number of cards you list
  • How many times you sell each card per year

Cards that are 5+ years old with $15,000+ limits can earn $100+ per authorized user added. Newer cards with smaller limits earn less but still generate income.

Most sellers with 5+ active cards earn between $500 and $2,000 monthly. You can check what your specific cards are worth using our Tradeline Seller Earnings Calculator.

Which banks are safe to sell with

Not every bank is friendly to authorized-user selling. Knowing which banks to use and which to avoid is the most important part of protecting your accounts.

Banks to avoid:

  • Chase
  • Bank of America

Banks that tend to be safer:

  • Citi
  • Discover
  • American Express
  • Barclays

Tradeline Express also limits how many users get added to your cards at once. Too many additions too fast is what triggers bank attention.

How to get started today

You need at least one credit card that’s 2+ years old with a clean payment history. Higher limits and older accounts earn more, but you can start with what you have.

Sign up with Tradeline Express and we’ll let you know which of your cards qualify and what they’re worth. We handle the buyers, payments, and timing so you can treat this as a hands-off income stream.

Results may vary. Individual earnings depend on your credit card portfolio and how often tradelines are sold.
